Norfolk State University’s College of Science, Engineering and Technology seeks applications for three (3) nine-month tenure-track positions in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics starting Fall 2023. Duties include teaching mathematics courses at all levels with commitment to academic excellence. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to advise students; develop the curriculum; establish and maintain a relationship with industry; serve on departmental, school, and university committees; and perform appropriate scholarly and service activities, demonstrate productive and active research with publications, presentations and grantsmanship.

Minimum Qualifications 1. Doctorate in (Computational Applied or Applied) Mathematics with understanding of and graduate experience in current trends in data science & analytics. 2. Commitment to academic excellence. 3. Record of teaching and scholarly achievement. 4. Evidence of research and grantsmanship.
