The Department of Mathematics at Lehigh University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professor to start in Fall of 2023. The successful candidate must have earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics or a related field by the date of employment.

Excellent teaching is enshrined as foundational to our faculty and department, and we are committed to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. The teaching duties will normally consist of three undergraduate mathematics or statistics courses at the introductory or intermediate levels each semester. The candidate will also develop and coordinate the use of instructional technology across the department's courses, coordinate multisection classes, help new instructors and visiting faculty develop their teaching, play a leading role in enhancing the department's undergraduate major programs, participate in departmental, college, and university service, and contribute to the university’s community outreach efforts. This is a three- year position, with the potential of renewal.
