Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track Limited Term Instructor or Limited Term Assistant Professor of Mathematics faculty positions in the Department of Mathematics beginning August 2024.  This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities 
  • The standard teaching load for limited term faculty members is 30 credit hours per academic year. 
  • Candidates must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching mathematics courses ranging from general education courses through more advanced mathematics courses (depending on qualifications). 
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. 

Required Qualifications Include 
  • A Master's or doctoral degree, or the foreign equivalent, in mathematics or a closely related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics is required for an Instructor position. 
  • A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in mathematics, or a closely related field with 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics is required for a Limited Term Assistant Professor position. 
  • Successful applicants will be strongly committed to student success among the college's disciplines and be ready to invest deeply in KSU students. 
Preferred Qualifications Include 
  • Prior teaching experiences of collegiate mathematics courses 
  • Experience in implementing active learning methods that facilitate meaningful engagement with students.
