The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Florida Atlantic University invites applications for five full-time renewable instructor positions starting in August 2018. The positions require a master's degree or higher in the mathematical sciences and permission to work legally in the US. The teaching load will be approximately 12 credit hours per semester, primarily in courses at or below the calculus level. Preference will be given to applicants that have experience in teaching large classes, who are able to coordinate multi-section courses and oversee instructional labs, and who have experience in teaching online classes and in working with online tutoring and assessment programs. Experience with teaching statistics or related courses will be an asset. The nine month salary range is $42,000 - $45,000.
