Tenure-Track Position Mathematics

The College of Charleston Department of Mathematics invites applications for one or more tenure-track assistant professor positions beginning August 2018. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in mathematics or related field by the employment start date. Since teaching, research and service make up the primary responsibilities of the position, a record of and potential for excellence in these areas, including directing student research, make up the basis for ranking candidates. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in actuarial studies and financial mathematics or operations research, although exceptional candidates in all areas of mathematical sciences will be considered.
