Subject to budgetary approval, Rice expects to have a position for a Griffith
Conrad Evans Instructorship and two positions for RTG Lovett Instructorships
beginning in the Fall of 2013. These positions are two to three year appointments
and are open to promising research mathematicians with research
interests in common with the active research areas at Rice; particularly, algebraic
geometry, analysis, combinatorics, differential geometry, ergodic theory,
geometric analysis, geometric topology, mathematical physics, and number
theory. Duties will include research and classroom teaching. Candidates
must have received their Ph.D. degree no earlier than December 2011. Applications
