The Department of Mathematics at the University of Arizona invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position(non-tenure eligible), contingent upon budgetary approval. The Visiting Assistant Professorship is available beginning in Fall 2010.

Duties and responsibilities of this position are to teach six or more units per semester including a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, and to build a strong research program.

By the time of the appointment, candidates are expected to have a PhD and an excellent research record or potential, as well as a strong commitment to teaching.
