The Department of Mathematics at The University of Texas at Tyler invites applications for multiple tenure-track positions at the rank of assistant professor, to begin in Fall 2024. Candidates must have a PhD in mathematics by August 2024. Candidates must have a commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and master’s level and a commitment to an active research program. Candidates whose work is compatible with existing research areas in the department are of particular interest, but candidates whose work can broaden the research scope of the department will also be considered. The usual teaching load is three courses per semester. The successful candidate will be expected to teach, maintain an active research program, and provide some service to the department and university.
