Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Mathematics Education, Mathematics (with significant work experience in Mathematics Education), or a closely related field, before August 15, 2024. Department needs include undergraduate and secondary mathematics education, equity and social justice in mathematics education, and mathematics teacher education. Outstanding candidates in other mathematics education specialties will be given full consideration. Responsibilities: Faculty are assigned an instructional workload of five or six course units (three credit hours each) per academic year. Faculty members in mathematics education teach a broad spectrum of courses throughout the undergraduate curriculum and in the Master’s degree program in Mathematics Education, and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching is essential. The successful candidate will establish a productive research program with a willingness to pursue external funding opportunities.
