The Department of Mathematics at William & Mary, a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for (one or more) one-year, non-tenure-track visiting instructional position that will begin August 10, 2022. We seek an individual with expertise in Mathematics with possible course assignments include single-variable and multi-variable calculus, linear algebra, ordinary differential equations, and introduction to methods of proof. While a candidate’s research area is not critical for this one-year teaching position, there may be opportunities for collaboration, both pure and applied, with other members of the department faculty. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a 3-3 teaching load.

A Ph.D. or ABD is required in Mathematics or a related discipline by the time of appointment (August 10, 2022).
