The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Regina invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, in Algebraic Topology or a closely related area, starting July 1, 2018. The Department seeks applicants whose research both aligns with and complements research in Algebraic Topology within the Department. The successful applicant will be an individual who has an independent research program, has the ability to make a substantial research impact over the course of a career, and whose application demonstrates the ability to attract and maintain external funding in Mathematics. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to attract, supervise, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students studying Mathematics, and possess the skills for high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The duties for the position include research, teaching, and service. The successful applicant will be expected to be able to work collegially with others in performing these duties.
