Institution: Bilkent is a non-profit foundation university located at western suburbs of Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, with a beautiful campus and an international faculty. Bilkent University is among the top elite universities of Türkiye and the surrounding region. Fund: The position will be funded by the TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye) project The quadratic Chabauty method at primes of bad reduction & rational points on modular curves, led by Assistant Professor Enis Kaya.

Who should apply?: The position is open to strong candidates working in arithmetic geometry or closely related areas. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: arithmetic of curves and their Jacobians, p-adic integration and height theories, rigid analytic and Berkovich analytic spaces, tropical geometry, toric geometry and programming in SageMath & Magma.
