The Mathematics and Statistics Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a one- year visiting position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2026. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with broadly diverse student populations while contributing to a vibrant learning community that values academic freedom, creativity, and intellectual curiosity, which is currently averaging between 40 and 50 majors per year. Candidates with ABD will be considered, although candidates with a Ph.D. and prior teaching experience are preferred. The teaching load for this position is five courses. The expected 9- month base salary range for this position is $77,900 to $80,400.
