Computing, Analytics & Mathematics (CAM) is one of the four divisions in the School of Science and Engineering (SSE) established through UMKC Forward, a university initiative to create multidisciplinary learning, academics, research, and outreach. CAM offers undergraduate degrees in Computer Science (ABET-accredited), Information Technology (ABET-accredited), and Mathematics, MS degrees in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, and Statistics, and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science, and Mathematics/Statistics. Job Description- The Division of Computing, Analytics & Mathematics is seeking applications for a 9-month, full-time, benefit-eligible, ranked non-tenure track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or full Teaching Professor level to teach Mathematics, starting in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and participate in department, school, and/or university service activities. The anticipated workload is 4 courses per semester. 

Qualifications- All candidates must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related discipline prior to the start date. Applicants for the Associate or full Teaching Professor position should have the qualifications of Assistant Professor, as well as a strong portfolio of Math courses successfully developed and delivered at the undergraduate and graduate levels, strong student evaluations from teaching, and evidence of mentorship of graduate students. 

Anticipated Hiring Range-
Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications, experience, and profile of qualifications to teach multidisciplinary and advanced courses. This 9-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (1.0) faculty appointment is eligible for ranked promotion. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
