| The Department of Statistics at the University of Missouri invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor. We seek creative statisticians with an interest in developing novel methodology that complements our strengths in spatio-temporal statistics, environmental and ecological statistics, federal statistics, biostatistics, or machine learning. Candidates should have a strong methodological foundation and have a demonstrated commitment to creating innovative approaches, theoretically sound methodology, and computational tools.
Applicants from all areas of statistics are encouraged to apply. A doctorate in statistics or biostatistics or related field by August 15, 2022, excellence in teaching, outstanding research potential, and excellent communication skills are required.
The review of applicants will begin on November 1, 2021 and will continue until the position is filled.
