The CNRS is offering post-doctoral positions in arithmetic geometry, algebraic K-theory, and related fields, funded by the ERC Consolidator Grant 101001474 Motivic Cohomology of Schemes (MoCoS) held by Matthew Morrow. Applicants should typically have some experience in arithmetic geometry and/or algebraic K-theory in a broad sense, such as p-adic/étale/motivic cohomology, algebraic cycles, etc.
  • The starting date for the positions is 1 September 2022 (flexible).
  • The original appointments will be made for 1 or 2 years; later extension to a maximum of 3 years may be possible.
  • The positions come with no teaching requirements.
  • The salary is of the order of 2800 to 3800 euros per month (before deductions for tax and social security), depending on experience; further details are available on request.
  • A grant of 3000 euros per year for research related travel expenses will be provided.
