The Lecturer position in Mathematics is responsible for teaching primarily lower-level mathematics courses, occasionally teaching higher-level mathematics courses, advising students, and providing service to the department/college/university. The minimum qualifications are the following: 1. Master’s degree in mathematics or mathematics education with a minimum of 18 hours in graduate mathematics courses 2. Teaching experience at the collegiate level The preferred qualifications are the following: 1. Experience in teaching courses in calculus, statistics, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and/or upper-level mathematics or statistics courses 2. Experience in effectively implementing different technologies in teaching mathematics or statistics 3. Knowledge, innovation, and ability to lead in updating the use of technology in lower-level courses |
