The Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (ICMAT) offers one postdoctoral position for excellent early-career researchers in mathematics who wish to pursue their research career at ICMAT.
The appointed researcher will join the Hitchin-Ngô Laboratory at ICMAT coordinated by Oscar García-Prada. We strongly encourage applications from candidates across the field of algebraic and differential geometry. Contract & Timeline
Duration: 24 months
Start date: Flexible, but no later than 1 October 2026 (negotiable)
Interviews: Shortlisted applicants may be invited

Results announced: The successful candidate will be contacted by 15 January 2026.
