The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track assistant or associate professor in Analysis available in August 2022. The Department encourages persons from all areas of Analysis to apply, and seeks strong candidates with a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences with a specialty in one or more of the areas of real analysis, complex analysis, functional analysis, harmonic analysis, topological data analysis, or applied analysis. Potential application areas of interest include, but are not limited to, signal and image processing, graph theory, materials science, photonics, complex or computational fluids. Experience and track record indicating excellent potential to conduct research, obtain extramural funding and advise students, and ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses are required. Other desirable attributes include excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with an interdisciplinary and collaborative intellectual community. Postdoctoral research experience and strong applied analysis, computer programming and data visualization skills are desirable. University teaching experience is a plus.
