The successful candidate will be expected to: Teach two classes per semester Remain active in the profession Engage students in research and other activities Establish collaborations with external entities that will support recruitment, retention, graduation and placement of students from underrepresented groups in mathematical related programs. Perform other duties assigned by the department/college such as serving in various departmental and university-wide committees. Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in Mathematics, Mathematical Education, Applied Mathematics or other related areas. The successful candidate should be recognized at the national level for preparing under-represented groups for success in mathematical related areas. The candidate should have at least seven years of teaching experience at the university level and be proficient in the use of technology to support student learning. |
