The "Lagrange Mathematics and Computing Research Center (LMCRC)" is running a research project on Optimal Transportation. The project is led by Alessio Figalli (ETH Zurich), Guillaume Carlier (Paris Dauphine), Quentin Merigot (Paris-Saclay) and Filippo Santambrogio (Lyon 1). The focus of the project is on optimal transport with special attention to Wasserstein gradient flows, the use of Wasserstein distance in sampling problems, the regularity of optimal transport maps, and computational aspects. The project is seeking to recruit PhD students and-or postdocs. Candidates will be based in Paris, with an office at the Lagrange Center located at 103 Rue de Grenelle, 75007, Paris, France and will receive a competitive salary.
