The Applied Algebraic Geometry Group at Ghent University has openings for several Postdoctoral Researcher in Applied, Combinatorial and Computational Algebraic Geometry funded by Fatemeh Mohammadi's FWO Research Grants. These positions are fully-funded at internationally competitive rates. The aim of the group is to develop theoretical and computational tools in algebraic geometry to study problems in mathematics, statistics, theoretical computer science, industrial engineering and quantum physics. The postdoctoral researcher will work in the research group of Fatemeh Mohammadi. Applicants must have, or be close to completion of a PhD in Mathematics (algebraic geometry, discrete mathematics), Mathematical aspects of Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other related fields. What we offer: - Postdoctoral position for 1-3 year.
