Carthage College invites applications for a one-year non-renewable visiting faculty position in Mathematics to begin Fall 2022. Candidates should hold the Ph.D. degree in mathematics or a related field at the time of appointment. ABD applicants will also be considered. Applicants from all fields of mathematics will be considered, although applicants with an interest in teaching statistics are particularly desirable. In addition to formal scholarly credentials, candidates must have enthusiasm for teaching and undergraduate research in an inclusive small college atmosphere. The candidate must be able to teach elementary statistics and have a desire to teach other general education mathematics courses.
