The Associate Director of the Center for Statistical Training & Consulting (CSTAT) assists the Director in carrying out CSTAT’s mission, including managing CSTAT’s consulting services, infrastructure, personnel, stakeholder relations, and resources. Successful candidates will (1) maintain project coordination by assigning new clients to consultants, follow-up on projects and final reports; (2) manage CSTAT’s operations database; (3) recruit, train, and supervise graduate student consultants; (4) collaborates with CSTAT clients and partners on research projects with grant proposal development and statistical support; (5) assist the CSTAT Director in the overall administration of the unit.

Minimum Qualifications: The job requires a Ph.D. in Statistics or another quantitative field; knowledge of applied statistical methodologies, 4 years’ experience in statistical consulting and research, 4 years managerial experience (including project management, supervising team members, preparing and managing budgets), excellent organizational planning and time management skills, excellent programming and database skills. Strong interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills are essential.

Appointment Description: This will be a full-time (100% FTE) Academic Specialist with an initial appointment period of 1 year and can be extended subject to satisfactory progress.

Compensation: Salary $90,000- $115,000 commensurate with degree and experience. Excellent benefits package.
