Position Description

The Institute for Math & AI, Wuhan (IMAI) invites applicants for several tenured and tenure-track faculty positions. IMAI provides world-class working environment and highly competitive salary packages.

Qualifications
  • Hold an equivalent position at a world-class university, scientific research institution, or in a world-class discipline, or possess a comparable academic level, demonstrating the ability to independently develop and lead in academic directions with significant potential for growth.
    • Tenured professor: National High-Level Leading Talents and talents of equivalent level; talents with academic level for equivalent positions at world-class universities.
    • Tenured associate professor: talents with the potential to become National High-Level Leading Talents.
    • Tenure-track associate professor: National High-Level Young Talents, or those who have been assessed as having the same academic level.
    • Tenure-track assistant professor: talents with the potential to become National High-Level Young Talents
  • Hold a Ph.D. degree (or an equivalent international degree).
  • For tenure-track associate professor and tenure-track assistant professor, generally, age should not exceed 40 years old.
