Postdoctoral Positions in Center for Interdisciplinary Applied Mathematics (CIAM) Zhejiang University – Hangzhou, China

The Center for Interdisciplinary Applied Mathematics (CIAM) at Zhejiang University is a new research hub dedicated to pioneering work that bridges mathematics and a wide spectrum of scientific disciplines. We strive to become a globally recognized center of excellence  for cutting-edge science and technology.

We are looking for: 
Highly motivated and talented early-career researchers with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration. Multiple postdoctoral positions are available, hosted by our diverse faculty. 

Research areas include but are not limited to: 
  •  Inverse Problems and Imaging Science
  •  Partial Differential Equations & Applications 
  •  Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI 
  •  Mathematical Materials Science 
  •  and other emerging fields in applied mathematics 

Qualifications: 
  • A PhD (completed or expected by the date of appointment) in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 
  • A strong research record and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Enthusiasm for cross-disciplinary research. 

Appointment Terms: 
  • Initial two-year appointment with the possibility of extension for a third year based on performance.
