Company Description Autopoetic is an early stage startup focused on foundational IP in the artificial intelligence and consensus space. Autopoetic is a limited liability company based in New York City. Role Description Autopoetic is seeking to contract a Ph.D level mathematician with expertise in dynamical systems and stochastic processes to formalize the mathematical properties of our patent-pending novel consensus mechanisms. Background in multi-agent systems, information theory, or network dynamics highly valued. Research involves high-dimensional adaptive systems with emergent behavior and conservation principles. This role is about defining and expressing the mathematical properties of existing algorithms in preparation for publication and peer review. The algorithms are written, tested, and functioning. Timeline is ~3 months. Compensation Competitive contract compensation commensurate with experience. Qualifications * Doctoral degree in mathematics * Experience writing and publishing peer-reviewed papers * Experience publishing on arXiv.org preferred * Available for clean intellectual property assignment (no conflicts with employers or other institutions) * Experience with LaTeX and mathematical typesetting * Familiarity with computational mathematics tools -- especially PythonApplication Materials Required:
