Jilin University, located in Changchun, China, is one of the top national universities in the country. The Institute, successor to the former JLU–GT Institute of Theoretical Sciences jointly established with the Georgia Institute of Technology, conducts research in multidisciplinary areas of mathematics, particularly those related to dynamical systems, differential equations, and their applications. It also hosts several joint research and education programs with international partner universities. In particular, a joint dual B.S. degree program in Applied Mathematics between Jilin University and the University of Alberta is currently under development within the Institute.
