Research Environment The group maintains an active research environment, including regular seminars, research discussions, and visits by international researchers. Current research themes in the group include interactions between dynamical systems, geometry, and number theory, such as homogeneous dynamics, dynamics on moduli spaces, Diophantine approximation, and geometric structures on manifolds. The position is intended to support independent research while fostering collaboration within the group. Postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to pursue their own research programs while interacting with faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students. They are expected to participate in and help organize seminars and research activities. The working language of DASOM center is English, and knowledge of Korean is not required. Responsibilities Postdoctoral Fellows are expected to: Conduct high-impact independent and collaborative research. Teach one research topic course or equivalent lecture series (total 2.5 hrs* 15 weeks) per academic year. Present findings in seminars and international conferences. Contribute to the academic and social life of the department. Qualifications A Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field, completed by the start date. (We encourage applicants with a Ph.D. awarded on or after January 1, 2022.) Demonstrated excellence and promise in mathematical research. Ability to contribute to a collaborative, international research environment. Salary and Benefits Annual Salary: 50,000,000 to 60,000,000 KRW (commensurate with the specific fellowship).
