Candidates must hold a PhD in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a strong record of original research and complement one of our existing research groups.

 The School of Mathematics at Hohai University was established in June 2023. The school comprises the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Information and Computing Science, the Center for Public Mathematics Teaching and Research, the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Mathematics and Hydraulic Science, and the Mathematical Technology Experimental Center. In scientific research, while continuously strengthening basic mathematical research, we attach great importance to interdisciplinary research that leverages the school's advantageous disciplines. We have successively formed five relatively stable research areas: differential equations and dynamical systems, algebra and combinatorics, high-performance computing, probability, statistics and data science, and the intersection of mathematics and other disciplines.
