The Department of Mathematics at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) invite an outstanding scholar (assistant professor or higher position) in Mathematics with proven strong research and teaching commitment starting from the autumn semester in 2022. A visiting professor teaches two courses per semester and is expected to be actively involved in advancing the mission of the Department and the University. The salary (including tax) will be 4 million Korean Won (approx. 3,250 US Dollars) a month and you are able to use ‘faculty apartment’ at your own expense. 1. Title: Visiting Professor in Mathematics 2. Starting (expected) appointment date: September, 1st 2022 3. The term of appointment: At least one semester to two semesters (September 1st 2022 to August 15th. 2023) 4. Major Fields: Any field in Pure and Applied Mathematics including Statistics 5.
