The Department of Mathematics at the University of Alabama has a postdoctoral position, beginning August 16, 2021. This position is renewable annually for up to two years. The teaching load is 3 courses, 9 credit hours, per year (a 2/1 load). Candidates are expected to provide effective teaching and carry out research in close collaboration with members of one of our research groups. The top priority in this search will be for candidates in algebra/topology, but candidates in other research areas will be considered if no suitable candidates in algebra/topology are found.
