Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Research Associate in algebraic geometry or algebraic combinatorics in the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. The post is available from 1st September 2023, or a mutually agreed date, for a 36 months fixed term contract.

The Opportunity:

The position is funded from an EPSRC fellowship ``Toric vector bundles: Stability, cohomology, and applications” of Milena Hering. This project explores stability of toric vector bundles, with applications to vanishing theorems. In addition, the candidate will be encouraged to pursue their own, and newly arising, research questions.
