| The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Dickinson College invites applications for two one-year visiting lecturer positions beginning in the fall semester 2022. A Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, or closely related field is expected at the time of appointment. Applicants must have a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, an appreciation for the intellectual community of a liberal arts college, and the ability to work with a diverse student body. The teaching load for the academic year is six course equivalents and will include courses from the calculus sequence and introductory statistics. For one position, advantage will be given to applicants who can teach an elementary programming or other computer science course. Dickinson College is a highly selective four-year, independent liberal arts college with approximately 2300 students. It is located 20 minutes west of Harrisburg and is a two-hour drive from Baltimore, Washington DC and Philadelphia. The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science has major and minor programs in both mathematics and computer science.
