Position Description

Strong candidates from all areas of harmonic analysis (broadly interpreted) are welcome to apply. The selected candidate is expected to join the research team and work collaboratively on problems within the framework of the above-mentioned project; possible research topics include (but are not limited to) linear and multilinear singular integral operators, their applications in ergodic theory, as well as Sobolev and other related inequalities in various (discrete and continuous) settings.

Knowledge of Czech is not necessary. The position does not come with any teaching duties but such opportunities are provided if desired by the candidate. Due to the restrictions of the funding agency, applicants must have received their Ph.D. within the last 8 years (exceptions are possible in cases of parental leave and long-term sickness).

The expected duration of the position is September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2028 (negotiable). The successful candidate will receive a gross salary of approx. 65 000 CZK (around 2 600 EUR) per month. Additional funding will be available to support research travel.
