The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Georgetown University (https://mathstat.georgetown.edu/) invites applications for a tenure-track position in applied mathematics at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to begin in August 2022. Applicants must have a PhD/DSc in mathematics or applied mathematics. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to both research and teaching and will play an active role in a new PhD program in applied mathematics as well as other departmental programs. Candidates using mathematical methods in the broadly defined area of analysis are particularly encouraged to apply. However, all areas of application and interdisciplinary work are welcome. Completion of all PhD/DSc degree requirements is required by July 31, 2022; postdoctoral experience is preferred.
