Position overview

Dr Laura Cladek is seeking to appoint an early career candidate, with not more than three years post-doctoral experience, to the MSI Postdoctoral Fellow. This is a three-year fixed term position to pursue innovative research-focused work in euclidean harmonic analysis and fourier analysis with a strong geometric combinatorial flavour; incidence geometry and additive combinatorics (candidates with interests in theoretical physics applications are welcome).

Applicants are expected to have a track record of independent research. Although this position is research intensive, some teaching is required to develop the appointee’s career and prepare them to apply for a tenure-track position anywhere in the world. The Postdoctoral Fellow will have access to an annual research support grant to cover start-up costs, visitors, and conference travel.
