Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor in Mathematics

Penn State Behrend invites applications for a full-time, one-year sabbatical replacement position in Mathematics to begin Fall 2024. This position will be at the rank of lecturer or assistant teaching professor (depending on qualifications.) An M.S. degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, or related quantitative/applied field is required. Responsibilities include teaching algebra and trigonometry through second-year calculus, commensurate with degree and experience. Faculty members are expected to promote and advance Penn State Behrend's commitment to both teaching and scholarship, to the holistic development of students, and to principles of respect, diversity, and inclusiveness.

Penn State Behrend is an undergraduate and graduate college of the Pennsylvania State University. The School of Science offers B.S. degrees in biology, chemistry, mathematics, mathematics education, nursing, physics, environmental science and interdisciplinary science and business.
