The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Binghamton University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant or associate professor, beginning in Fall 2023. Priority will be given to candidates in Analysis, broadly defined, including geometric analysis, classical analysis, dynamics, partial differential equations, mathematical physics, probability, numerical analysis and scientific computing, applied mathematics, and the mathematical foundation of data science. The successful candidate must have a strong record of research and teaching and would complement and/or strengthen our existing research group. Current research in the department includes algebra, analysis, combinatorics, geometry/topology, probability, and statistics.
