The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), based in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, is Canada's largest and most recognized organization devoted to outreach in mathematics and computer science. The CEMC's activities include mathematics and computing contests, an extensive school visiting program, face-to-face workshops and conferences, free online resources, and an online Master's program aimed at current secondary school teachers. Faculty members in the CEMC split their time between undergraduate teaching through the Faculty of Math and outreach activities.
