HETAO INSTITUTE OF MATHEMATICS AND INTERDISCIPLINARY SCIENCES (HIMIS) is a newly established public institution in Shenzhen, dedicated to advancing the integration of fundamental and applied disciplines. The institute emphasizes interdisciplinary research spanning core fields such as basic mathematics and physics, applied mathematics, applied physics, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing. HIMIS has entered into a collaborative agreement with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) to jointly train and mentor students, postdoctoral researchers, and other emerging talents. We are now recruiting high-caliber professionals in areas including basic mathematics and physics, applied mathematics and physics, computer science (encompassing high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, software, and applications), as well as applied domains such as quantum computing, climate modeling, geophysics, and biomaterials. Available positions include faculty appointments, professional and technical staff, postdoctoral researchers, and PhD students, all of whom will contribute to cutting-edge research and engineering development. Faculty applicants must hold a doctoral degree and demonstrate a record of distinguished academic accomplishments. Successful candidates will be appointed as Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, or Professors, and will participate in teaching and graduate student supervision. Professional and technical staff will be appointed to roles such as Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Principal Engineer.
