Position Description:

The research group of Yuval Wigderson at ISTA has an opening for a postdoctoral researcher in extremal combinatorics starting in 2027. The exact starting date is flexible, and the expected duration is two years, though there is the possibility of extension.

ISTA is a young English-speaking research institute on the outskirts of Vienna. Vienna hosts a vibrant and active research environment in combinatorics and related fields, with many research groups working in these areas. This position comes with no teaching obligations, but postdocs at ISTA have the possibility to teach a topics course on any subject of their choosing.

Evaluation of candidates will begin on October 16 2023, but this is not a hard deadline; this advertisement will remain online until the position is filled.
