about IUPUI and Indianapolis Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis is an outstanding research university—a 21st century model for urban higher education. about the SCHOOL OF SCIENCE The School of Science at IUPUI is home to an array of experts in the physical, mathematical and life sciences. Over 200 full-time faculty, research scientists and staff are engaged in science research, teaching and civic engagement. The School consists of a central administrative unit and seven degree-granting departments including Biology, Chemistry & Chemical Biology, Computer & Information Science, Earth Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physics and Psychology.
