Position Description

We are advertising a (2+1)-year joint postdoctoral position in the Institute of Mathematics of Academia Sinica (Taipei, Taiwan), and California Institute of Technology (Caltech). The postdoc will be jointly supervised by Prof. Miranda Cheng and Prof. Sergei Gukov. In the first two years, the researcher will be mainly based in Academia Sinica, with plenty of opportunities to collaborate with both research groups and to visit Caltech. With the successful completion of the first two years, the researcher might spend a third year in Caltech or in Academia Sinica, the details to be determined in 2025. The main topics of research include the study of low-dimensional topology, and the development of AI for mathematics.
