| The Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering, Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics (AMS), Department of Biomedical Engineering (BMS), and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department of Oncology, Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, invite applications for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the area of Mathematical Biology. Preference will be given to candidates who conduct research in quantitative methods in the life sciences, including modeling and analysis of biological and physiological systems, cancer and other diseases, neuroscience, as well as genomics. Outstanding candidates at all academic ranks will be considered. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering or related fields, and will be expected to establish a strong, independent, multidisciplinary, and internationally recognized research program. Commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels is required. The successful candidate will have a tenure/tenure-track home in one of the three departments. Secondary appointments in the other two departments is possible.
