The Department of Mathematics at Lehigh University invites applications for visiting assistant professor positions starting fall of 2021. These positions are intended for new or recent Ph.D's with outstanding promise in teaching. This is a non-tenure track, 1 year position. There is a possibility of renewal for a second year depending on excellent teaching and on funding. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester, which may include evening courses. Ability to teach elementary statistics is a plus. We will also consider applications for adjunct positions teaching 1 or 2 course per semester. The College of Arts and Sciences at Lehigh is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
