Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University. These
fellowships provide an opportunity to engage in research in mathematics, with a
limited amount of teaching, and they are particularly suitable for talented
mathematicians who have recently completed their Ph.D. Positions are
tenable for two or three years, depending on the research project and the
available funding. To learn more about the department, please visit www.math.mcmaster.ca. The fellowships are open to candidates of any nationality and selection will be based upon the candidate's research potential and fit with one of the active research groups in the department. Research areas with particular interest in hiring new postdoctoral fellows this year include Algebraic Geometry, Analysis, Applied and Computational Mathematics, Commutative Algebra, Geometric Analysis, Low-dimensional Topology, Mathematical Biology and Theoretical Fluid Mechanics. The fellowships
normally start on August 1, 2024
and provide an annual stipend salary of at least $55,000, plus a $2,000 grant
for research expenses. In order to receive full consideration, candidates are required
