Position Description
The University of Michigan’s Department of Mathematics is
initiating a search for an appointment in financial mathematics or related
fields at the tenure-track assistant professor level. This will be a university-year
appointment beginning August 28, 2023. Candidates should hold a PhD in
financial mathematics or a related field; have extraordinary credentials in the
area of financial mathematics or related fields including stochastic dynamics
and control, and machine learning; and show outstanding promise and/or
accomplishments in both research and teaching. Salaries are competitive and are
based on credentials. The following materials are required: (1) Cover Letter,
