The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Mount Allison University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Applied Mathematics. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and to research. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in mathematics and computer science and develop a vigorous, externally funded research program. The ability to teach introductory courses in statistics would be an asset. Candidates are encouraged to indicate faculty at Mount Allison, within Mathematics and Computer Science or in other departments, with whom they might develop research collaborations. The appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor and will commence on July 1, 2017, subject to budgetary approval.
