The Department of Statistics, at The Pennsylvania State University, invites applications for multiple Postdoctoral Scholar positions in the labs of Dr. Le Bao and Dr. Runze Li. Potential research projects include (but not limited to) developing statistical methods and theory for high-dimensional data analysis with applications of understanding HIV epidemics. A Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or directly related field at time of appointment is required. The successful applicants will be expected to have a solid statistical background, research experiences showing independence and innovation, and demonstrated academic writing skills. This is a limited term position that is initially funded for one-year from date of hire with the possibility of re-funding.
